G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management organised "Welcoming Ceremony" for India's first Miss World (Deaf) Vidisha Baliyan by BBA and BCA students in Greater Noida Campus on 27th August 2019.
Vidisha Baliyan, 21, from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar city bagged the title among 11 finalists from 16 participating countries in the event which held on 12th July 2019 in South Africa.
In the ceremony, she was accompanied by her parents. They shared the journey they took together - of struggles, of strength and of victory. Along with the Baliyan family, we had Vidhisha's coach, Lt. Rita Gangwani with us. Retired Lieutenant Rita Gangwani is former officer in Indian Army , an International Pageant coach, Personality development master, soft skills trainer, corporate grooming, etiquette coach and motivational speaker. We also had Miss. Devika Malik, co-founder of 'Wheeling Happiness' daughter of Khel Ratan Awardee, Padamshree Dr.Deepa Malik.
The whole discussion was extremely emotional and interactive.
