BUDGET PE CHARCHA

G.L.Bajaj Institute Of Management, Greater Noida organized “BUDGET PE CHARCHA” On Feb. 07, 2019, Thursday, in college premises under the guidance of Dr. Dileep Singh (Director, GLBIM). Ms. Monika Bhati was the coordinator for the same. Five groups of students participated in this i.e Wealth Management (Ayushi & Shruti), Wealth Counsel (Aman & Chhavi), Financial Planning (Khushboo & Rajat),Advisory Group (Mayank & Sonali), Auditor Group (Babita & Akshata). Each group explained the budget 2019 by PPT. It was explained so nicely. Some discussed points were Interim Budget, Fiscal policy & Full Budget & highlighted points were also shared i.e. No tax for those whose taxable income is less than Rs. 5 lakhs Standard deduction increased to Rs. 50,000 from Rs. 40000 for salaried class A big spread for farmers &unorganised workers. In continuation of this a debate was conducted between the participants, some were in favour and some were against the budget 2019. After this Dr. Dileep Singh (Director, GLBIM) delivered a speech, He appreciated all the participants. At last, results were announced and Wealth Management Group (Ayushi & Shruti) secured the WINNER position.The program was successful & it was ended with vote of thanks.
